Job Responsibility:
Create, modify, maintain, and classify SAP components within the Material Master function for various disciplines (Methods, Logistics, Finance, Quality)
Apply company policies when creating components
Participate in the development and updating of Master Data procedures
Work closely with cross-departmental (Engineering, Methods, Logistics, Quality, etc.) and cross-site Bombardier stakeholders to adopt best practices in Master Data management
Develop a strong understanding of the business across multiple areas such as Logistics, Production, Methods, Bills of Materials, and Stores in order to thoroughly assess and define the parameters of required adjustments and changes, as well as their implications and impacts
Ensure data integrity in SAP and produce monthly performance indicators
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives through the BOE (Bombardier Operational Excellence) system
Manage workflows and demonstrate leadership to ensure overall customer satisfaction
Facilitate the introduction and implementation of new software solutions (e.g., S/4 HANA)
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or a college diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
Five (5) years or more of relevant experience in the aerospace sector or another manufacturing industry, ideally related to Material Master or Master Data management across one or more functions
Previous experience with the SAP ERP system, process improvement, and continuous improvement in administrative functions
Possess the computer skills required to develop governance, reports, and KPIs to support the business unit (including the MS Office suite and Outlook)
Proactive, results-oriented, and focused on continuous improvement
Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, departments, and management levels
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and make sound decisions in high-pressure work situations
Able to work in French and English on a daily basis
Must be able to work on site at least two days per week
Nice to have:
SAP certification will be considered an asset
