Job Description:

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Perioperative Registered Nurse with experience in Anaesthetics/ PACU to join our clinical team on a Full-time basis. No overnights or on-call & occasional Saturday work optional. This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
  • Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
  • Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
  • Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
  • Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
  • Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in Perioperative Anaesthetic/ PACU nursing essential
  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similar
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Eligibility to work in Australia ( No visa sponsorship available)
