Within the Fleet efficiency Customer Care Centre organization, The AMO hangar manager is part of Airbus Part 145 Maintenance Organization Approval (SMOA), and is part of the Major Repairs & Working Party department (SBCR). SBCR scope encompasses the Project E2E Management of aircraft Modifications or repairs after the Transfer of Title to the Customer, such as Major Repairs, aircraft conversions, end of lease and upgrades, retrofit of modifications on in-service aircraft. The AMO Hangar Manager acts as the focal point representing SBCR, overseeing the overall needs of hangar / hangar facilities / GSE / tooling / parts / consumables, coordinating all scheduled / unexpected situations, and receiving audits from quality department, customers and/or authorities.
Job Responsibility:
Accountable for hangar operations and compliance, hangar maintenance and overall readiness
Hangar resources management
Hangar slots management
Focal point between Airbus AMO and supplier/suppliers
Support Logistics and warehouse management
Management of area, GSE, tool, parts, and consumables between successive working parties
Hangar costs follow up
Ensure Airbus AMO Staff reviewed the latest revision of local procedure and provide acknowledgement before starting work in supplier’s facility
Ensure the Certifying Staff, Support Staff, TSM, AEE, and SR of Airbus AMO reviewed the latest revision of Joint Procedures Manual before starting work in supplier’s facility
Requirements:
Aviation related Degree
Part 145 environment working experience or relevant managing aviation maintenance facilities
Fluent English both in written and oral speaking
Knowledge of hangar facilities, ground equipment, toolings and consumables of Part 145 requirements
Ability to coordinate with many different stakeholders
