Job Description:

We are looking for an AML Operations Representative IV to join a growing financial services team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this contract position, you will play a critical role in identifying and evaluating flagged transactions to ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level professionals to gain valuable experience in financial analysis and contribute to a fast-paced, detail-oriented department.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze transactions flagged by the AML monitoring system to determine if further investigation is required
  • Conduct research using online tools and resources to verify the legitimacy of flagged activities
  • Utilize basic computer skills, including copy-paste functions and internet searches, to support transaction review
  • Apply critical thinking and judgment to assess potential risks and ensure compliance with AML regulations
  • Document findings and prepare reports for higher-level review and decision-making
  • Collaborate with team members in a structured office environment to maintain productivity
  • Follow established processes and procedures to achieve departmental goals
  • Leverage opportunities for overtime to enhance earnings, while maintaining a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in operational workflows and practices

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations, including Microsoft Excel and internet searches
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a desk-based, quiet office environment
  • Excellent communication skills for documenting and reporting findings
  • Capability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance standards
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday
