We are looking for an experienced AML/KYC Analyst to join a team in Newark, Delaware. This contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of compliance measures and risk management processes within a dynamic financial institution. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in anti-money laundering and know-your-customer regulations, along with a proven ability to perform detailed risk assessments and ensure organizational compliance.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct thorough internal control risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and mitigate potential risks
  • Perform regular testing of bank processes and products to ensure adherence to AML/KYC and PATRIOT Act regulations
  • Escalate compliance issues and concerns to appropriate stakeholders while maintaining accurate documentation
  • Assist in creating, updating, and implementing policies and procedures related to financial crimes compliance
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance cross-functional compliance and risk management efforts
  • Support remediation initiatives stemming from internal audits, risk assessments, and regulatory examinations
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices to improve compliance programs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to foster effective communication
  • Partner with leadership to design and execute risk self-assessment programs
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing overall risk management strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in AML/KYC roles within the financial sector
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AML/KYC regulations, financial crime investigations, and regulatory reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on risk assessment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with tools and systems related to compliance and risk management
