We are looking for an experienced AML/KYC Analyst to join a team in Newark, Delaware. This contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of compliance measures and risk management processes within a dynamic financial institution. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in anti-money laundering and know-your-customer regulations, along with a proven ability to perform detailed risk assessments and ensure organizational compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct thorough internal control risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and mitigate potential risks
Perform regular testing of bank processes and products to ensure adherence to AML/KYC and PATRIOT Act regulations
Escalate compliance issues and concerns to appropriate stakeholders while maintaining accurate documentation
Assist in creating, updating, and implementing policies and procedures related to financial crimes compliance
Collaborate with various departments to enhance cross-functional compliance and risk management efforts
Support remediation initiatives stemming from internal audits, risk assessments, and regulatory examinations
Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices to improve compliance programs
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to foster effective communication
Partner with leadership to design and execute risk self-assessment programs
Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing overall risk management strategies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in AML/KYC roles within the financial sector
Comprehensive knowledge of AML/KYC regulations, financial crime investigations, and regulatory reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on risk assessment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with tools and systems related to compliance and risk management
