Simplify is the UK’s largest independent conveyancing and property services group, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and operational excellence. We are now seeking an experienced and proactive AML Analyst Manager to support our AML Manager and help lead a high‑performing team dedicated to protecting our organisation and clients.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a team of AML Analysts
Provide ongoing training, coaching, and constructive feedback
Drive a culture of compliance, integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Act as the first point of escalation for AML/KYC decisions and complex queries
Ensure all decisions, checks, and processes meet compliance standards and internal SLAs/KPIs
Maintain all relevant records and registers in line with regulatory expectations
Complete high‑quality Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to the NCA for review by the AML Manager
Provide detailed responses to complaints where an AML element is involved
Undertake BAU AML tasks as needed during high‑volume or reduced‑capacity periods
Support the AML Manager in monitoring, interpreting, and embedding new legislation and regulatory changes
Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of evidence and follow‑up actions
Ensure all regulatory reporting obligations are met accurately and on time
Contribute to a unified AML operating model across the organisation
Identify opportunities for process optimisation and operational enhancements
Participate in project work and cross‑functional initiatives
Attend and contribute to team meetings, sharing insights to improve processes and outcomes
Requirements:
Strong understanding of AML and ID verification requirements
Knowledge of conveyancing transactions (essential)
Experience working in a team environment and dealing with customers
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
Proficient IT skills, including MS Word and Excel
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Confidence in decision‑making and applying sound judgement
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
