As the Americas M365 Consumer Category Manager, you will run the in-cycle performance engine that drives Microsoft 365’s weekly and monthly results across the region, along with owning the Direct Channel execution for the region. This role sits at the center of the business, connecting KPIs (key performance indicators), partner inputs, and channel performance into clear insights and decisive actions that move the business within the quarter. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and regional leadership to monitor in-cycle performance, identify risks and opportunities, and influence execution in real time — crafting the performance narrative from weekly engagements through our monthly and quarterly leadership reviews. The role requires you to synthesize complex data into sharp, executive-ready insights that guide decisions and shape short-term strategy. With deep analytical experience, advanced Excel/Power BI capability, and executive storytelling, you will drive our category’s momentum week by week. This role also owns our Direct channel performance, as well as the Outlook and Budget processes, requiring a command of forecasting models, business drivers, and financial rigor.

Job Responsibility:

  • Architect and drive the weekly performance rhythm for the M365 Consumer business, synthesizing KPIs across revenue, units, attach, and partner execution
  • Monitor weekly and monthly performance trends, identifying risks, opportunities, and clear execution actions
  • Influence Sales, Marketing, and partner teams to drive impact within the quarter, ensuring short-term performance targets remain on track
  • Support development of the performance narrative for weekly, monthly, and quarterly leadership forums, turning complex data into crisp insights and prioritized actions
  • Manage category performance for the Direct channel across the Americas, managing KPIs, insights, forecasting, and performance storytelling
  • Engage deeply with multiple cross-functional teams — including WW Direct, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, and the Product Marketing Group — to drive coordinated execution and alignment
  • Lead development of the monthly Sales Progress Call (SPC), delivering the view of M365 category performance across the Americas
  • Synthesize complex data sets into simple, actionable stories that resonate with leadership
  • Ensure accuracy, alignment, and clarity across SPC content through deep cross-functional collaboration
  • Continuously improve SPC storytelling, data quality, and operational rhythm to increase influence and impact
  • Co-own the M365 Consumer Outlook process for the region, partnering with Finance to deliver accurate, grounded forecasts
  • Support quarterly and annual Budget engagements, ensuring alignment on assumptions, drivers, and performance expectations
  • Provide visibility into forecast risks, drivers, and opportunities to support high-quality financial planning and decision-making
  • Build analytical models and dashboards using advanced Excel and Power BI to surface trends, insights, and performance drivers
  • Turn data into compelling insights that guide action, improve execution, and shape near-term strategy
  • Foster a data-driven culture across the category team by elevating insight quality, clarity, and accessibility

Requirements:

  • 2+ years category management, product management, marketing strategy, business planning, product planning, or related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience in business planning, category management, performance management, or analytical roles
  • Proven ability to influence leaders with clear insights and recommendations
  • Experience building dashboards, performance frameworks, or forecasting models that guide strategic decision-making - Power BI experience is a plus
