HPE Financial Services is seeking an experienced Americas Factory Operations Manager to lead and optimize operations for customer product returns, refurbishment, and resale. This role is critical in supporting HPE' sustainability initiatives and enabling investment capacity solutions for customers and partners.
Job Responsibility:
Direct operations at the Andover, MA facility, ensuring productivity and operational excellence
Manage customer product returns processing, ensuring efficient handling and compliance with standards
Oversee resale channels to maximize value recovery and maintain quality assurance
Supervise processing sites across the Americas, ensuring adherence to HPE standards and performance metrics
Establish and monitor TAT metrics for product returns, refurbishment, and resale. Implement strategies to reduce cycle times and improve customer satisfaction
Drive cost optimization initiatives across operations, balancing quality and profitability. Monitor budgets and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service levels
Build and develop high-performing teams. Provide coaching, training, and career development opportunities to foster engagement and growth
Drive continuous improvement in workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability
Manages activities of exempt individual contributors (typically Expert/Master) and/or MG1s
Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall policies and long-term goals of the organization
Plans, manages, and monitors high-end operational/tactical activities of Staff
Recruits and supports development of direct staff members
Requirements:
First level university degree or equivalent experience
advanced university degree preferred
Typically 10+ years of experience in a supply chain function (or related fields)
Typically 2-4 years of people management experience
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in IT asset disposition or reverse logistics, with strong understanding of demand and supply planning processes, business operations, and strategy
Expertise in TAT measurement, cost control, and process optimization. Excellent analytical thinking, data modeling, and problem-solving skills
Advanced leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, conflict resolution, and workforce development in a virtual and global environment. Ability to develop and lead diverse teams across multiple locations
Excellent project management skills, including time and risk management, and project structuring
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including advanced negotiation, presentation, and influence skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences
mastery in English and local language
Superior business acumen, technical knowledge of multiple business units, and extensive knowledge in applications and technologies. Strong understanding of company policies and processes
Advanced understanding of national and international trade requirements
Advanced skills in partnering, consulting, and stakeholder engagement
Advanced ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of sustainability principles and secondary market dynamics is a plus
