Job Description:

We are expanding our surgical care team and seeking reliable, skilled Registered Nurses to support pre‑op, intraoperative, and post‑op patient care within a high‑quality ambulatory surgery center. This role is ideal for nurses with surgical or trauma‑based experience who excel in fast‑paced clinical environments and enjoy working directly alongside surgeons in orthopedic and related procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide nursing care throughout pre‑operative, perioperative, and PACU phases for outpatient surgical procedures
  • Complete and document telephone pre‑admission assessments and prepare patients for same‑day surgery
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers, supporting room turnover, sterile practices, and efficient surgical flow
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure a safe, compliant, and high‑functioning ASC environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all safety and regulatory standards

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active RN license (North Carolina or compact eligibility)
  • Minimum one year of surgical nursing experience, including OR, perioperative, PACU, trauma, or ER surgical exposure
  • PACU experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in high‑acuity or procedural settings
