Job Description

In this role you will be directly responsible for managing a large workforce of temporary employees (associates) onsite at Amazon. You will work in alignment with site HR, Operations, Learning, Safety and Workforce Staffing (WFS) teams to promote associates engagement, implement overall coordination of associates and ensure correct processing of associates payroll. This requires a high level of attention to detail.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing a large workforce of temporary employees (associates) onsite at Amazon
  • Working in alignment with site HR, Operations, Learning, Safety and Workforce Staffing (WFS) teams to promote associates engagement
  • Implementing overall coordination of associates
  • Ensuring correct processing of associates payroll
  • Monitoring associate pool health, associate pool utilization, availability of associates, coordination of extra shifts/overtime
  • Weekly Rostering and Scheduling, including daily changes
  • Providing the associates with all work related information, including working schedules, arrival times, break times
  • Onboarding & induction of new associates
  • Ensuring that the delivery team is capable of dealing with all aspects of day to day reporting
  • Providing all information and/or documentation required to smoothly and timely integrate each associate into the Amazon system
  • Executing new starter audits
  • Liaising the Amazon WFS, HR team and floor area managers
  • Daily reporting on KPIs including but not limited to fill rates, attendance, absenteeism, pool utilisation, turnover, safety incidents

Requirements

  • Experience in relevant industry, onsite experience, recruitment or HR background and the right competencies
  • Must be available Monday to Sunday day shift span of hours (7am start/6pm finish)
  • High School Completion
