Job Description:

Direct Agents is looking for an experienced Amazon Specialist and Retail Media (a plus) to lead planning, development, and execution of our e-commerce strategy across key agency accounts. Primary focus is on Amazon, with additional retail media channels (Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc.) a plus.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of eCommerce strategy across key agency accounts, including Media Planning and Forecasting, Brand Strategy, Product & Launch Strategy, and Inventory Forecasting
  • Lead a team of client success managers, account analysts, and associates
  • Proactively gather relevant data on market trends, competitor strategies, and industry developments
  • Work closely with both Seller Central and Vendor relationships
  • Oversee and strategize on new and existing seller content creation, SEO optimization, and management across platforms
  • Oversee campaign management, product launch & promotional strategy, and advertising across Amazon & Marketplaces
  • Continuously ideate and test out-of-the-box strategies
  • Lead the methodology and development for emerging marketplace media
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across platforms
  • Leverage tools such as Amazon Advertising, Walmart Connect, Roundel, Google Analytics, Helium10 and other platform-specific utilities
  • Dedicate time to understanding emerging e-commerce strategies, platform evolutions, and anticipating the future direction of the industry

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in e-commerce strategy, preferably with a focus on Amazon, DTC, Walmart, Target, etc. Proven success in developing and executing innovative strategies
  • Strong aptitude for autonomous thought and action
  • Demonstrated expertise in Google Sheets and Google Slides
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Google, Meta, Amazon, Walmart, Target, and emerging marketplaces is a plus
  • Experience using a myriad of e-commerce tools, including but not limited to, Amazon Advertising, Walmart Connect, Helium10, JungleScout, Supermetrics, and others
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets and drive continuous growth
