Job Description:

Manage daily operations and administration of payment operations; Focus on achieving efficiency, customer service, and compliance with regulatory requirements; Monitor stakeholder performance and ensure alignment with HSBC's objectives

Job Responsibility:

Manage and control daily operations and administration of the payment operations (which includes FCY/LCY processing, regulatory filings, RBI liaison, Investigations etc.)
Monitor performance of external vendors and operating staff in the unit
Ensure standardization of processes and update process notes regularly
Perform regulatory reporting activities as per RBI and other regulators requirements
Ensure an effective Business Continuity plan is in place for the unit and timely completion of BC exercise
Ensure day to day processes are run as per defined procedure notes and policies
Contribute in performance parameters including cost management, key process performance indicators (TAT, accuracy etc.) and customer satisfaction levels
Maintain HSBC internal control standards including timely implementation of internal and external audit points
Implement the group compliance policy as applicable to the role
Ensure all actions consider the likelihood of operational risk occurring

Requirements:

1-3 years of overall Banking exposure with 1 year of specialized experience in managing Remittances Operations
Fema knowledge
People and Stakeholders Management
Strong Communication and decision making ability
Thinking and Problem solving skills
Customer centric approach to support business growth
