Job Description:

AM/DM-Electrical role involving production planning, equipment installation, cabling, testing, regulatory compliance, and field management for marine electrical systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • A. Electrical Production Planning & Control
  • B. HV/LV Equipment Installation
  • C. Shipboard Cabling & Hook-up
  • D. Electrical Testing & Trials
  • E. Regulatory Compliance
  • F. Field Management & QHSE

Requirements:

  • 10 years experience
  • Develop and drive detailed micro-plans and resource deployment for the entire electrical installation scope
  • Monitor progress against the master schedule and manage resources using ERP/SAP
  • Supervise the precision mounting, anchoring, and alignment of all major electrical equipment
  • Ensure earthing and connection procedures comply with technical specifications
  • Take full charge of large-scale cable tray erection, cable pulling & dressing, tagging, glanding, termination & clamping
  • Ensure all terminations are performed to the highest marine electrical quality standards
  • Lead all pre-commissioning checks
  • Provide essential support during the power-up sequence and Harbour Acceptance Trials (HAT)
  • Ensure all electrical installation works adhere strictly to Class Society rules and international standards
  • Coordinate joint inspections with the Quality Control department and Class surveyors
  • Resolve all site-related technical issues pertaining to electrical installation
  • Enforce strict adherence to electrical safety protocols and all QHSE standards
