The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, setting up, and maintaining the breakfast area in the hotel. This role ensures guests have a pleasant and enjoyable Dining experience by providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the area is fully stocked and organized throughout breakfast service.
Job Responsibility:
Prepares and sets up the buffet area according to hotel standards
Ensures that all food and beverage items are fresh, replenished, and presented attractively
Greet guests promptly and provide a welcoming dining experience
Present menus and explain offerings
Records and enters guests’ orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
Assists guests with entre selections and accommodate special dietary needs when necessary
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure correct order and presentation
Maintains cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, counters, and floors
Prepare and process checks, including handling payments and transactions
Monitors and ensures food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times
Cleans and sanitizes equipment and utensils after each use
Ensures that all items are restocked as needed throughout the service period
Assists with the breakdown of the buffet area and cleans the area after service
Responds to guest requests and resolves any issues promptly and professionally
Ensures that coffee machines, juice dispensers, and other breakfast equipment are in good working order
Promptly reports any maintenance issues to the appropriate staff
Performs other duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a food service in a hotel environment is preferred
1-2 years of experience in a similar role is desirable
