Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled Aluminum Welders to join a well-established marine manufacturing facility in Delta, BC, specializing in high-performance rigid-hull inflatable boats (RHIBs) used by military, coast guard, law enforcement, and commercial marine sectors worldwide. As the only Canadian site within a global network—and the second largest facility globally—this location plays a key role in delivering custom, mission-ready vessels built to ISO 9001 quality standards and distributed internationally. This is a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment offering long-term stability, competitive pay, and strong opportunities for internal growth and promotion. The ideal candidate has hands-on aluminum welding experience in a manufacturing setting and is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Read and interpret schematics and drawings for welding and assembly
  • Perform aluminum welding on boat hulls and components
  • Measure, plan layouts, and determine appropriate welding methods
  • Set up and prepare materials using tools such as grinders
  • Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and identify defects
  • Complete work within deadlines while meeting quality standards
  • Troubleshoot welding and assembly issues as needed
  • Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and engineers
  • Follow safety protocols, company policies, and ISO quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Complete required documentation and reports
  • Support additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of aluminum welding experience (required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • WHMIS Certification mandatory to be considered for this role
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Steel-toe work boots
  • Detail-oriented and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
