We are currently seeking skilled Aluminum Welders to join a well-established marine manufacturing facility in Delta, BC, specializing in high-performance rigid-hull inflatable boats (RHIBs) used by military, coast guard, law enforcement, and commercial marine sectors worldwide. As the only Canadian site within a global network—and the second largest facility globally—this location plays a key role in delivering custom, mission-ready vessels built to ISO 9001 quality standards and distributed internationally. The ideal candidate has hands-on aluminum welding experience in a manufacturing setting and is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
Job Responsibility:
Read and interpret schematics and drawings for welding and assembly
Perform aluminum welding on boat hulls and components
Measure, plan layouts, and determine appropriate welding methods
Set up and prepare materials using tools such as grinders
Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and identify defects
Complete work within deadlines while meeting quality standards
Troubleshoot welding and assembly issues as needed
Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and engineers
Follow safety protocols, company policies, and ISO quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Complete required documentation and reports
Support additional tasks as assigned
Requirements:
2–3 years of aluminum welding experience (required)
High school diploma or equivalent
WHMIS Certification mandatory to be considered for this role
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Steel-toe work boots
Detail-oriented and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
