This is a remote position. Job Description: Alteryx Developer

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain workflows in Alteryx Designer to automate data processing tasks
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Implement data validation and quality assurance processes within Alteryx workflows
  • Optimize workflows for performance and scalability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and workflow execution
  • Document workflows, data lineage, and metadata to ensure repeatability and transparency
  • Stay updated with Alteryx product updates, new features, and best practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Alteryx Developer or similar role with a strong understanding of Alteryx Designer
  • Proficiency in designing, building, and deploying ETL workflows using Alteryx
  • Solid understanding of data management concepts and techniques
  • Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation using Alteryx tools
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver business solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and data warehousing concepts is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and scripting languages (Python, R) is advantageous
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
  • 5+ years work experience
