Our partner is looking for an Alternative Investment Operations Analyst to join their Global Operations department in Budapest. In this role, you will support the operational processes across the firm’s private and alternative investment portfolios, ensuring accurate, timely, and risk-controlled execution. You will act as a key point of coordination for internal and external stakeholders, including investment teams, custodians, and fund administrators, to ensure smooth end-to-end processing in a dynamic, global environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support operational processes across private and alternative investment portfolios with a focus on risk-controlled execution
  • Maintain high-quality investment data and support end-to-end transaction workflows
  • Collaborate with Operations Leadership to enhance the operating model, data integrity, and quality across the enterprise
  • Assist in designing, developing, testing, and implementing new processes and system enhancements
  • Partner with portfolio management, technology, legal, and risk teams to develop protocols for enhanced products and services
  • Work with other departments and jurisdictions to achieve a consistent global operating model for the firm
  • Ensure adherence to internal and external guidelines and assist in maintaining operational policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in Financial Services, specifically within Asset Management or Hedge Funds
  • Direct experience in Alternative Investment operations (portfolio or trade support) is required
  • In-depth knowledge of securities reference data and data management
  • Proven track record in implementing data operations standards and quality practices
  • Strong ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with a genuine interest in investment processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
