Alterations Specialist

• Complete all fittings and alterations to high standards
• Exemplify friendly, knowledgeable, and technical expertise
• Provide superior customer service
• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm

• Contribute to store achievement of Five-Star Customer Service
• Proactively address customer concerns
• Communicate how alterations can perfect the dress
• Assist stylists in closing sales
• Maintain store-standards
• Maintain high standard of dress
• Greet and escort alterations customers
• Maintain quality control guidelines
• Respond promptly to customer questions
• Build long-term customer relationships
• Maintain inventory management
• Ensure alteration pricing is at company standards
• Manage all alterations, fittings and sewing, steaming, pressing and spot cleaning
• Resolve customer service issues
• Support cash wrap behaviors
• Maintain alterations room cleanliness
• Perform duties as assigned by store management

• High school diploma or equivalent degree
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment

Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus
