Alterations Specialist

• Complete all fittings and alterations to high standards
• Welcome customers over phone, virtual chats and in person
• Manage customer flow using systems
• Maintain service levels
• Provide exceptional service experience to multiple customers
• Proactively address customer concerns
• Communicate how alterations play a role in perfecting the dress
• Assist stylists in closing sales
• Maintain store-standards
• Maintain a high standard of dress
• Greet and escort customers to and from alterations appointments
• Maintain quality control guidelines
• Respond to customer questions
• Build long-term relationships
• Maintain inventory management
• Ensure alteration pricing is at company standards
• Manage all alterations, fittings and sewing, steaming, pressing and spot cleaning
• Resolve customer service issues
• Support cash wrap behaviors
• Maintain cleanliness of alterations room

• High school diploma or equivalent degree
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment

Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
