The position will support and maintain the production processing of multiple client’s New Accounts, Transfers, Terminations, Maintenance requests. The position will interface daily with the client’s front office management and act as a subject matter expert and escalation point. The position has daily client SLA’s and must ensure the team meets internal deadlines to ensure operational readiness. The position will interact and provide support to numerous teams and departments within the organization, including Portfolio Services, Trade Settlement, Performance, Reconciliation and others, and act as a subject matter expert for Account Transitions. The position will also liaise with external custodians.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the day to day responsibilities of the team by developing a strong risk management and controlled environment
Confirm the completion of the review and verification of the staff's work on a daily basis
Act as instructed by client
Perform a team lead function
Take active role in new employee onboarding
Research complex issues and inquiries
Approve documented workflow, procedures and controls
Interface with senior level internal and external clients and other departments on complex matters and inquiries
Ad-hoc reporting
Engage in complex special projects and assignments including new client onboardings
Cover various supervisory functions when necessary
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, or economics or equivalent work experience in finance or accounting
4 plus years related industry experience
Managerial or team lead experience a plus
Working knowledge of Domestic and International financial and all related instruments
Strong ability to multi task and attention to detail
Ability to work in a deadline oriented position
Ability to develop business relationships within and outside the organization
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problems solving skills
Computer proficient including Excel
SQL, VBA, Access knowledge a plus
Nice to have:
