Allround Receptionist

• Welcoming guests and handling check-ins and check-outs (day and night)
• Providing information about the hotel and the city of Ghent
• Answering phone calls and emails professionally
• Resolving guest questions, requests, and concerns efficiently
• Handling payments and administrative tasks
• Ensuring safety and quiet during night hours
• Performing control rounds in and around the hotel
• Monitoring access to the hotel
• Preparing daily reports (occupancy, revenue figures, statistics)
• Supporting light operational tasks where needed
• Collaborating with housekeeping, breakfast, and other departments
• Helping ensure the lobby and reception area remain tidy and welcoming
• Supporting bar service or small guest requests when required

• You remain calm, friendly and solution-oriented
• You enjoy working independently but know when to align with colleagues
• Night and weekend shifts are no problem for you
• You're looking for a full-time or part-time job (38h or fewer)
• You speak fluent Dutch and English
• Experience in hospitality, reception or security is a plus, especially night shift experience
• You’re comfortable with computers or learn new systems quickly
• A diploma is less important than your reliability, sense of responsibility and service-minded attitude
