Citi's Equities Technology organization is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to join the Equities Electronic Execution (Electronic Trading) technology team, focusing on the design and delivery of Citi’s next-gen Algorithmic trading and Smart Order Routing (SOR) platform. The senior engineer will be involved in hands-on design and implementation of the platform, contributing to architectural decisions and ensuring adherence to performance and latency targets, while maintaining high standards in code quality and SDLC processes. This role will require close collaboration with the trading desks, product development, and quantitative research on platform design as well as implementation and optimization of trading strategies. Close alignment with the global strategy and cross-regional delivery is a key aspect of this role. Prior experience in Algorithmic Trading / SOR / Market Making / Quantitative Trading is necessary along with knowledge of market microstructure and regulatory regimes across regional markets.
