Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced sales professional with proven track record of managing complex enterprise relationships within the financial services industry in Canada. You will join a growing team dedicated to driving the regional expansion with the Asset Owners, Asset Managers and Asset Servicers, investing in, acting in and supporting public and private markets. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team to accelerate sales of BlackRock’s Aladdin platform and deliver against revenue targets with specific focus on Canada.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering presentations of our solutions to potential and existing clients
  • Crystallizing customizing our products and services’ value proposition in support of our clients’ business objectives and outcomes
  • Building on your existing network to actively generate and advance sales pipeline
  • Establishing and maintaining executive-level client connectivity
  • Conducting research into current and future industry trends to stay ahead of the market
  • Developing a strong understanding of the Aladdin product suite and value proposition
  • Strengthen existing client relationships and be the go–to person for our clients by having a deep understanding of our client’s needs
  • Orchestrating the end-to-end sales cycle in close collaboration with partner teams
  • Analytically planning pipeline and targets in our data driven forecasting framework
  • Planning and executing go-to-market activities and client engagement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent as minimum (CFA or CIPM designation a plus)
  • 10+ experiences in the financial services industry as a practitioner, consultant or sales executive
  • A Sales mentality with strong qualifying and closing skills
  • Robust interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable collaborating closely with both BlackRock's clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Skilled in generating leads through cold calling, research, networking, and advancing these to defined processes
  • Experience in working with common CRM tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with great sense of detail and urgency

  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles end‑to‑end, from initial outreach and qualification through solution design, commercial negotiation, contracting, and transition to implementation
  • Engage clients through a consultative selling approach, diagnosing operating model pain points and aligning Aladdin’s integrated front‑to‑back capabilities to their strategic objectives
  • Establish strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, becoming a long‑term partner across investment, risk, operations, and technology teams
  • Collaborate extensively with partner teams to cross‑sell adjacent technology and data services, especially for private markets and multi‑asset workflows
  • Work closely with regional and global Aladdin Client Business teams, product groups, legal/commercial teams, and executive leadership to ensure unified engagement and excellent client experience
