Join BlackRock as a Vice President supporting real-time trading operations within our fast-growing Aladdin Trader business. This is a unique opportunity to elevate the user experience and support model as part of the Aladdin Client Experience team. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues, drive platform stability, and shape the future of trading support through strategic tooling and partnerships.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and deliver exceptional support to Aladdin Trader users during production issues
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME), owning issues end-to-end—including follow-ups, recurrence prevention, and proactive monitoring of trading environments
  • Develop and maintain a data monitoring layer to enable data-driven client education and engagement
  • Collaborate with users to understand trading workflows and deliver timely, effective solutions
  • Diagnose and resolve complex user inquiries, identifying root causes and implementing remediation strategies
  • Design and implement proactive monitoring tools to enhance platform observability
  • Act as a liaison between Client Service, Client Engagement, Implementations, Product Marketing, Engineering, and other internal teams to drive high-impact initiatives
  • Analyze client inquiry trends and feedback to identify product gaps and recommend improvements
  • Lead strategic initiatives to enhance user experience through process optimization and technology enhancements
  • Continuously developing technical proficiency across trading workflows and product capabilities

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in real-time trade support in a client- or vendor-facing role
  • Experience in real-time trading environments, including incident management, latency troubleshooting, and post-trade reconciliation
  • Strong understanding of market microstructure, order types, and execution strategies across asset classes
  • Hands-on experience with FIX protocol, including message parsing, session management, and troubleshooting connectivity issues
  • Proven ability to manage production outages, perform root cause analysis, and communicate effectively with stakeholders under pressure
  • Experience supporting front-office trading desks, with a deep understanding of trader workflows and urgency in issue resolution
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., MiFID II, TRACE) and how they impact trading systems
  • Experience with real-time data feeds (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE) and market data normalization
  • Ability to write and maintain diagnostic scripts for log parsing, alerting, and automated recovery
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes in trading environments
  • Experience with incident tracking and knowledge management tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow, Confluence)
