Job Description:

Drive onboarding of new business onto our accounting platform. This role involves collaborating with clients to define requirements, design tailored solutions, and leverage BlackRock’s capabilities to deliver impactful outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver Aladdin Accounting implementations for investment, performance, and shadow accounting aligned with client objectives
  • Develop project plans with clear milestones and drive execution through collaboration and consensus
  • Provide leadership across all phases of the implementation lifecycle, working closely with client management and project teams
  • Lead system deployments, configure portfolios using accounting elections, initialize/review positions (Book, Carry, Market values), resolve exceptions, and finalize financial impact
  • Learn Aladdin workflows and train clients on monthly close processes
  • Enhance implementation methodology and partner with product/development teams to refine platform capabilities

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of investment accounting across fixed income, equity, derivatives, and alternative assets
  • Experience implementing accounting solutions for asset managers or asset owners, including insurance companies as a consultant or for your organization
  • Investment or performance accounting professional with hands-on experience closing monthly books—either for your organization or on behalf of clients
  • Working knowledge of financial instruments—fixed income, equity, derivatives—and application of investment and performance accounting concepts to these assets
  • Apply understanding of investment accounting standards (local GAAP and IFRS) to design, configure, and validate multibasis accounting solutions
  • Experience in investment accounting, performance, consulting, software implementation, or managing software implementation projects – ideally with exposure to Multi-GAAP Accounting
  • Strong knowledge of Asset management or Investment accounting, performance or attribution
  • Strong working knowledge of International GAAP/IFRS, French GAAP, or other statutory accounting frameworks, and ability to apply these standards pragmatically in operational and system configuration contexts
  • Experience interpreting accounting policies and standards and translating them into system behaviour, configurations, and clientspecific workflows
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage priorities effectively
  • Client-focused with a passion for providing high-quality service
  • Thrives in a highintensity, fastpaced environment and enjoys working with diverse teams to solve complex problems
