Job Description:

The AIT Technician ensures the accurate assembly, integration, inspection, and testing of satellite subsystems, including PCBAs, harnesses, and electromechanical assemblies, to meet mission and quality requirements. The role supports reliable satellite performance through rigorous verification, test setup maintenance, thorough documentation, and effective non-conformance reporting and resolution.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensures the accurate assembly, integration, inspection, and testing of satellite subsystems, including PCBAs, harnesses, and electromechanical assemblies, to meet mission and quality requirements
  • Supports reliable satellite performance through rigorous verification, test setup maintenance, thorough documentation, and effective non-conformance reporting and resolution

Requirements:

  • Vocational/technical qualification or equivalent training in electronics, electrical, or mechanical assembly
  • Hands-on mindset
  • Skills with electronic and RF lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, thermal chambers, etc.)
  • Prior experience using Jira and Confluence
  • Strong communication skills in English (written & spoken)
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to thrive in a multicultural environment
  • Commitment to continuous improvement

Nice to have:

  • Awareness of 6S standards for lab organization
  • Proven experience assembling/inspecting/verifying electronic components
  • Familiarity with workmanship and quality standards from electronics, aerospace or defense industry, like: IPC-A-610 (visual acceptance), IPC J-STD-001 (soldering requirements), IPC-7711/7721 (rework), IPC/WHMA-A-620 (Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies), ESA ECSS standards, NASA Standards, Military Standards
  • Experience in an R&D lab
  • Familiarity with mechanical lab tools (3D printer, hand tools, precision measurement tools)
