Job Responsibility:

  • People and Bag Search: Use advanced equipment and manual search techniques to ensure no prohibited items are brought into the airport
  • X-ray Screening: Operate X-ray machines to screen bags and personal items, ensuring compliance with airport security standards
  • Access Control: Manage access to the airport by verifying identification and travel documents for passengers, staff, and airport users
  • Customer Support: Provide assistance and high levels of customer service, resolving queries, and guiding passengers through their airport journey
  • Emergency Response: Be a first responder to incidents, including aircraft emergencies, providing crucial support and ensuring safety
  • Patrolling and Incident Response: Conduct regular patrols of airside and landside areas, attend to security reports, and carry out aircraft guarding and escort duties
  • Security Compliance: Adhere to all security notices, and maintain clear and concise documentation of any incidents

Requirements:

  • Must have been living in Northern Ireland/UK for the last 3 years continuously
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service
  • To be able to get to the airport at all times of the day, from as early as 02:45am
  • To be able to work flexible shifts
  • Must be over the age of 18 years old
