The Airport Coordinator is responsible for welcoming and greeting our students arriving and leaving Malta. The Airport Coordinator makes sure students are safely met and escorted to their Centre by the appropriate member of our staff as efficiently as possible. The candidate possesses a strong focus on customer service quality, attention to detail, punctuality, and great communication skills.
Job Responsibility:
Promote and safeguard the welfare of all students under your care and those you interact with
Maximise student and group leader satisfaction by ensuring their experience meets or exceeds expectations
Meet and greet Embassy Summer students on arrival
Assure students arrive on time for departure
Handle airport arrivals and departures of students in a courteous and professional manner
Follow-up on ‘No Show’ students and communicate thoroughly with the Transfer Manager and Head Office
Operate in accordance with the company’s Code of Conduct, and any local policies and operating procedures relating to academic, welfare and safeguarding matters
Comply fully with all arrangements in place related to Health and Safety
Requirements:
Degree-level education or equivalent (or currently pursuing)
Valid First Aid Certificate (desirable)
Safeguarding Level 1 (desirable)
Previous experience working in customer facing industry, ideally with multi-cultural aspect
Previous experience working with juniors (desired)
Experience managing a summer school environment (desired)
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to solve complex problems and manage challenging situations
Uphold appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people
Ability to work under pressure and multi-tasking
Clean driving license/own car (desirable)
High attention to detail
Fluent in written and spoken English
Must be eligible to work in the EU
Commitment to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people
