Boeing Commercial Airplanes(BCA) is seeking an Airplane Performance Software Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to join our Flight Operations Engineering – Customer Support team in Seal Beach, California. The successful candidate will be a qualified, highly motivated professional responsible for developing and testing airplane performance software applications used by aircraft operators across all Boeing commercial models. As a member of the Flight Operations Engineering – Customer Support team, you will manage complex assignments in a multifaceted environment while supporting our mission to deliver world-class service to airline customers and the flying public. The team’s primary focus is implementing aerodynamics and airplane performance characteristics into airplane performance software used for flight planning. Additionally, we develop capabilities to automate manual calculations and simplify complex route-planning tasks, enabling customers to plan and dispatch flights more efficiently.
