Job Responsibility:

  • Raise Pricing proposals under Quotations and Spot Quotes modules in CW1 in accordance with SOP’s
  • Work on airfreight quotations for your region (as stipulated from Product manager) when required assist with other regions
  • Check Import / Export documentation to determine cargo contents, and classify goods as DG / GENL / MAIN DECK ETC
  • Negotiate cost-effective rates with service providers to ensure maximum profitability
  • Maintain communication with customers / agents through the quotation process
  • Provide quotations based on routings appropriate to the customers’ needs
  • When applicable assist in filling In win & loss ratios within the CW1 System
  • Help develop, maintain and support quoting module within CW1
  • Assist management with billing discrepancies ( E.G Overcharges with Spot rates attained from negotiations with airlines etc. )
  • Immediately report problems, disputes to Commercial Managers

Requirements:

  • At least two (2) years’ experience of direct work experience in Air Operations / Customer Service
  • Experience in Airfreight Specialist
  • Stability and an interest in a long term position
  • Professional attitude
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Good time management
  • Knowledge and use of CargoWise
