Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Aircraft Technician A – Mechanical Installer to join our Flightline team based in Columbus, MS. You will be part of the team to perform mechanical removals and installations on assigned aircraft or parts and subassemblies. As well as assist other technicians when needed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform fabrication, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components
  • Conduct functional checks of systems for proper functioning
  • Perform work from three-dimensional blueprints, sketches, diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, inspection reports, and other similar documentation
  • Perform normal troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls

Requirements:

  • Minimum of four (4) years related experience in mechanical installations in industrial or automotive
  • Knowledge of mechanical blueprints and drawings
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Technical training in the aviation or mechanical field such as automotive is highly desirable
  • Must be a US Person as defined under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
