Assist Mechanic Is, IIs, and IIIs with performing organizational level maintenance while solving unusual maintenance problems by troubleshooting, testing, and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, fuel, rotor, drive systems, and auxiliary components
Perform scheduled, unscheduled, phase, calendar, conditional, and special inspections as required
Inspect, remove, replace MV-22 components such as engines, APU's, prop-rotor, tilt axis, and mid-wing gearboxes, hubs, landing gear, actuators, and all other components related to safe and effective mission operability
Learn the NALCOMIS reporting system to report and document any discrepancies and repairs
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data and directives, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent is required
Three (3) years actual and recent systems experience required
Previous MV-22 experience preferred
Previous MV-22 Avionics experience preferred
Candidates are required to supply their own hand tools
Must read, write, speak, and understand English
Must be able to obtain & maintain a NACI clearance to receive a common access card (CAC) to access Post and Military Websites
Candidate may be required to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
