Job Description:

Performs inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on assigned aircraft.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform launch, recovery, scheduled and unscheduled inspections/maintenance
  • Preflight/thru flight/BPO inspections, ground handling, minor maintenance, and servicing
  • Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all systems and components on the aircraft at the organizational level of maintenance
  • Services aircraft
  • Perform end-of-runway, post-flight, preflight, thru-flight, and phase inspections
  • Troubleshoots and maintains aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment
  • Removes and installs aircraft components
  • Performs inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer and company maintenance manuals and procedures
  • Services, operates, and maintains ground support equipment and performs interior and exterior cleaning of aircraft and work areas
  • Must precisely complete all maintenance documentation
  • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Four (4) years directly related to aircraft maintenance experience on KC-46 aircraft
  • Experience must include complying with all applicable aircraft servicing procedures, aircraft maintenance manuals and parts catalogs, and/or FAA Airframe, Powerplant, or Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
  • Must read, interpret and use manufacturers and aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, blueprints, wiring/schematic diagrams, data tables and other specifications to determine feasibility and method to repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged components
  • Must possess a current state issued drivers license
  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work site
