About the role Boeing's Helicopter Aircrew System (HATS) is a world-leading training program that is preparing the Australian Defence Force's next generation of helicopter aircrew for future combat and humanitarian missions. Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Program Coordinator to join the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) Program. In this role, you will provide sustainment engineering support to the EC-135 helicopter fleet, helping to enable the training of pilots, aircrew, and aviation warfare officers for the Royal Australian Navy and the Australian Army. Experience or familiarity with the ADF rotary wing operating environment and capability is highly desirable. This position can be based at HMAS Albatross, Nowra, NSW or Swartz Barracks, Oakey, QLD.
Job Responsibility:
Sustain safe, high tempo flight operations through incorporating OEM updates into the electronic Maintenance Management System, including co-ordinating supply and tooling variations to support those policy changes
Implement Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) updates in the electronic Maintenance Management System
Notify and liaise with the Boeing Maintenance workforce to communicate impacts of changes
Extract data from, and audit/review, the electronic Maintenance Management System against authorised maintenance data
Work closely with the maintenance planning team to develop best practice processes for efficient performance of maintenance
Collate and process suggested improvements to maintenance requirements
Requirements:
Experience in maintenance planning, reliability, or Maintenance Management Systems, preferably within an aviation environment
Strong computer literacy, including experience with Maintenance Management Systems and the full Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
A proactive problem-solving mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements. Successful candidates must be willing to undergo the standard government vetting process (full life background check). BDA will sponsor and support this clearance
