Job Description

Join our team at BDA's Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services Capability as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at RAAF Base Amberley. We're looking for skilled, driven individuals to join the C-17A Globemaster program, to help keep these aircraft mission ready. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you'll be hands‑on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault‑finding on aircraft systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborating with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion
  • Ensuring compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations
  • Fostering effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams
  • Ensuring Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices
  • Embrace a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well-being of all personnel

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures)
  • Be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements
  • Hold a current driver's licence

Nice to have

  • Previous experience working with Military aircraft
  • Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence
