Boeing Defence Australia are currently recruiting for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) as a part of the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) program in Nowra, NSW.
Job Responsibility:
Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and procedures
Ensuring all maintenance tasks carried out are IAW the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in the maintenance documentation
Ability to successfully interact with co-workers, maintaining productive working relationships to meet team, business unit, and organisational goals
Maintenance and modification of the EC135 electrical systems and associated equipment
Aircraft flight-line handling and servicing duties
Removal and installation of aircraft components
Disassembly and reassembly of aircraft components
Preparation and use of aircraft support equipment
Inspection, maintenance, servicing, repair and fault diagnosis of components and systems operating in both the line maintenance and base maintenance environments
Requirements:
Certificate IV Aeroskills (Avionics)
Current B2 MAML or the ability to obtain
Hold or be able to obtain a “Baseline” Security Clearance as per Defence Department requirements
Willingness to reside in Nowra, NSW area
Nice to have:
Previous experience working on rotary wing aircraft
EC135 series Aircraft Type course
Safran Arrius B2 line 1 and 2 maintenance training
