Job Description:

As an Aircraft Fitter, you will carry out assembly, installation and modification work on aircraft structures and systems, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll work as part of a skilled team supporting key production and maintenance activities across a major Aerospace environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform structural and mechanical fitting tasks on aircraft components and assemblies
  • Complete drilling, riveting, bolting, sealing and allied operations following approved procedures
  • Work accurately to engineering drawings, build instructions and technical documentation
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and build standards at all times
  • Support continuous improvement and workplace organisation initiatives
  • Complete all associated documentation in line with company processes

Requirements:

  • Time-served apprenticeship in Aircraft Fitting, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous Aerospace production or maintenance experience preferred
  • Confident interpreting engineering drawings and build specifications
  • Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Flexible approach with willingness to support additional hours when required
