The Aircraft Engine Technician will be responsible to ensure optimal service support for maintenance to achieve the excellent fleet availability with highest quality and safety standards. The Aircraft Engine Technician will also be responsible to perform detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of the aircraft engines (engine, blades, dynamic component) and maintenance (both scheduled and unscheduled). The Aircraft Engine Technician will perform OJT on location as required.
Job Responsibility:

Perform detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft engines (engine, blades, dynamic component) and maintenance (both scheduled and unscheduled)
Perform OJT on location as required
Requirements:
Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations and Procedures
Comply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and Regulations
Work as part of a team
Undertake aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection tasks, quality checks and completion of documentation
Check tools/GSE´s for condition and expiration date
Check components and parts for conditions
Determine and perform maintenance requirements for parts, clearances, tolerance, fuel and hydraulic leaks and corrosion damage
Interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints and technical publication
Determine repair procedures
Solve maintenance problems
Diagnose reoccurring malfunctions and recommend corrective action
Perform repair of components (engine, blades, dynamic component)
Ensure work is recorded on appropriate paperwork
Ensure correct use and control of aircraft parts and materials
Perform duties as assigned by the Site Manager
Evaluate performance of assigned customer’s personnel
Conduct on-the-job training activity
Train personnel on the use of maintenance manuals
Train personnel in all safety directives and FOD procedures
