Job Responsibility

  • Develop and integrate cutting-edge system architectures and equipment for Environmental Control Systems (ECS)
  • Be the expert on the software and hardware that safely operates Air Supply Systems
  • Lead the charge in improving and adapting these systems, including work on projects like fiber optic sensing applications
  • Use deep understanding of system behavior and control logic to support daily operations and resolve critical in-service issues
  • Work directly with a dynamic network of international teams
  • Define interfaces and drive project success

Requirements

  • Master's degree / Diploma in Engineering or similar qualifications
  • Work experience in System Engineering (V&V methodology)
  • Work experience in Software development and integration (mainly in IMA architecture)
  • Experience and knowledge on Airbus software & hardware development tools and processes: SW/HW development reviews - FDR, FFR, ...
  • DO 178 & DO 254
  • SW/HW SOI 2/3/4
  • Experience in technical (international) coordination would be appreciated
  • Experience in SW laboratory testing is considered a plus
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills (with business customers, internal and/or external, with Extended Enterprise subcontractors, etc.)
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within an international team
  • Ability to abstract problems and issues in analytical way
  • Ability to propose solutions and to challenge alternatives based on concrete business model in a constructive and respectful way
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, Spanish or French or German is appreciated
  • Team-oriented mindset with high communication skills, open mindset and willingness to learn

All testing equipment, process, and procedures for testing will be Government furnished. Engineering support shall provide new techniques, practices, procedures, including suggestions for enhanced testing equipment to the 21 CS (OL-S)
  • Documentation includes current and future communications systems capturing all physical topologies and architecture within either or both the Phoenix Database and Cyberspace Infrastructure Planning System (CIPS) Visualization Component (CVC). The Phoenix Database is a Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) product. The Phoenix Database and CVC tool are repositories of Communications and Information System and Installation Records (CSIRs) used as a communications planning tool. Engineers will be required to obtain access to both systems via Phoenix request Memorandum and Department of Defense DoD Form 2875, System Authorization Access Request (SAAR) that will be provided by the Government

  • Utilize SGS’s maintenance management system (MTC Pro) to schedule and track all maintenance, inspections, and compliance tasks for regional assets – including facility, vehicles, trailers, vessels, life support equipment, generators, underwater video systems, etc. – and maintain accurate logs and photographic records to verify task completion, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.   • Assign and/or perform routine maintenance on marine diesel engines (e.g. oil changes, filter replacements, belt adjustments)

  • Conduct sea trials to verify repairs and ensure vessels are fully operational and seaworthy
  • Retrofit or upgrade engines and equipment per manufacturer guidelines and industry standards
