Job Description:

We are looking for our Air and Ice protection Systems technical leader to come onboard in our Engineering Directorate in Propulsion & Air systems team : a team of 19 collaborators! Propulsion & Air systems team missions covers the full range of Engineering activities from early R&T to In-service events analysis including product improvement development. Your activities will be mainly oriented on team functional coordination, project management and technical dossier validation associated to Air & Ice protection Systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage technical/functional coordination of the Air & Ice protection team : 7 collaborators
  • Identify, agree and prioritize with management and customers (internal and external) list of activities
  • Support the Air & Ice protection team to define schedule and budget for those activities
  • Air & Ice protection team technical deliverables validation : Specifications, SoW, Certification Program, Means of Compliance, …
  • Encourage cross sharing of information inside the team
  • Contribute to collaborators development and learnings (product knowledge, process, methods and tools)
  • Investigate in-service events and propose mitigation/corrective actions
  • Manage continuous improvement inside the team
  • Lead your own technical topics covering multi ATA : 21/30/36
  • Manage technical alignment with Air & Ice protection Systems suppliers and partners (Airbus, Leonardo)
  • Contribute to the update of Air & Ice protection System Roadmap
  • Participate to International Regulation working groups

Requirements:

  • Engineering background with a specialization in aeronautics, aircraft systems, thermal management
  • More than 10 years of Experience in Air, Ice protection systems design, development or integration
  • Good knowledge of CS/FAR 25, Part 21 regulations and of V&V processes
  • Team spirit, open-mindedness, pro-active
  • Rigor and ability to deliver clear and synthetic analyses
  • Fluent in English and French (Italian is a plus)
