Job Description:

We're looking for an Air Hygiene Supervisor who will work under the direct supervision of the Field Manager, supporting and guiding operatives while also carrying out technical air hygiene tasks across various sites.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise operatives, ensuring safe working practices in line with RAMS, and maintain professional communication with clients at all times
  • Carry out kitchen extract system cleaning in accordance with TR19 Grease, ventilation system cleaning in accordance with TR19, and install access doors in line with DW144
  • Inspect fire dampers in accordance with BS9999, conduct regular inspections of the physical plant, follow preventative maintenance programmes, and recommend major repairs and equipment purchases where appropriate
  • Maintain personal equipment and chemical stock inventories, complete and submit pre-work risk assessments and same-day service reports, and ensure accurate record-keeping at all times
  • Comply with site rules, follow method statements, work safely in line with RAMS, communicate professionally with on-site contacts, and ensure methods and outcomes are explained prior to leaving site.

Requirements:

  • Excellent air hygiene knowledge and the ability to operate and maintain ventilation systems
  • a recognised qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Strong teamwork, client service, personal administration, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and negotiation skills
  • Literacy skills, including the ability to read technical manuals, along with effective verbal and listening communication skills
  • Strong time-management abilities and a valid UK driving licence.
