Job Responsibility

  • Independently install round and rectangular ductwork from technical drawings
  • Align ductwork and hanging systems perfectly straight, level, and parallel
  • Ensure a neat installation, free of scratches, dents, or visible residue
  • Work in accordance with current quality and airtightness standards

Requirements

  • An education at mid-level, preferably in shipbuilding
  • Are you in possession of a valid VCA or VCA-Vol certificate
  • Must be able to communicate with the employee in Dutch or English
  • Demonstrable work experience as a Ship Metal Worker
  • Experience with reading drawings, measuring and marking
  • Experience with tack welding, grinding and burning
  • Proven experience with commercial installations and high-quality exposed ductwork
  • Accurate working method with an eye for detail and a clean finish
  • Valid VCA certificate and a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP/Hoogwerker) certificate
  • Own certified hand and power tools, and reliable transport
  • Adaptable to the logistical challenges of a city-center construction site
