Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer for an immediate, emergency requirement at a major distribution site in Hinckley. This is a temporary position supporting a high-volume operational environment, focusing on the maintenance and repair of critical cooling and ventilation systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • HVAC Maintenance: Deliver comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance across various air conditioning and HVAC systems
  • Fault Diagnosis: Efficiently identify and repair faults to minimize system downtime in a fast-paced environment
  • Compliance: Ensure all works are completed in strict accordance with F-Gas regulations and site health and safety protocols
  • Facilities Support: Coordinate with the wider FM team to ensure optimal building climate control and operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • Essential Qualification: Must hold a valid F-Gas certificate
  • Experience: Proven background in Facilities Management (FM) environments
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical cooling faults
  • Availability: Must be able to commit to the immediate start date to address emergency site requirements
