Job Description:

As a Service Technician, you’ll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment. This role involves hands-on technical work, diagnosing issues, recommending solutions, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to urgent service calls. You’ll also build strong customer relationships and represent the company professionally.

Job Responsibility:

  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair compressed air and rotating equipment
  • Diagnose equipment issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability
  • Identify and sell necessary repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance
  • Maintain accurate service records and compliance
  • Keep service vehicle stocked and respond to urgent calls

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience with rotary screw, oil-free, or oil-flooded air compressors

  • Adjusts manual controls or overrides automatic controls to bring equipment into recommended or prescribed operating ranges, switch to backup equipment or systems, or to shut down equipment
  • Visually inspects equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication
  • Maintains equipment by tightening fittings, repacking bearings, replacing packing glands, gaskets, valves, recorders, and gauges, and cleaning or replacing burners or other components, using hand tools and power tools
