Job Description

The Associate Director, Global Supply Planning is a strategic and operational leader responsible for end-to-end orchestration of Amgen’s global planning ecosystem across the product portfolio. This role leads a multi-functional organization that manages processes for balancing demand and supply choices. It has the accountability to assist and manage the identification and resolution of plan variances, inventory, cost and service optimization in alignment to the business objectives.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the Global Monthly Planning Cycle
  • Own and govern the execution of Amgen’s monthly planning cycle across the product portfolio
  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment across Global Supply Chain Leads (GSCLs), sites and regional demand planning
  • Develop scenario modelling capabilities and lead analysis of portfolio trade-offs to support decision-making and risk mitigation
  • Deliver a balanced demand-supply plan, support capacity alignment, and inventory optimization across the global network

Nice to have

  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in global supply planning, S&OP/IBP, or supply chain management
