Job Description:

The AIM Senior Analyst - Trader will support daily trading activity in liquid markets and daily management of internal portfolios. The role involves developing and implementing financial analysis or projects for broker/bank relationships and Portfolio Management of initiatives, including cash management, liquidity projections, and cash forecasting. The analyst will use multiple internal and external software applications such as Bloomberg professional and BlackRock Aladdin in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support daily trading activity in liquid markets and daily management of internal portfolios
  • Help develop and implement financial analysis or projects for broker/bank relationships and Portfolio Management of initiatives
  • Support monitoring of liquidity for portfolios and other activities within the Portfolio Management Team
  • Support build out of Portfolio Management reporting on ad hoc basis
  • Develop skills to trade fixed income and related securities authorized by portfolio managers

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in insurance, banking or financial services
  • 4 year degree in finance/accounting or equivalent business experience
  • Strong quantitative and modeling skills, advanced excel, macros and access skills
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Bloomberg professional or BlackRock Aladdin
  • Some capital markets or trading experience
