The AI Transformation Consultant is a senior role that extends the reach of the AI Accelerator into the business. This role owns the continuous relationship with each function - identifying where AI can create value, ensuring live initiatives are actually delivering it, and bringing that intelligence back to inform priorities. This is not a project management role. It is a business-facing advisory role that requires the ability to challenge function leaders, translate business problems into AI opportunities, and hold a function accountable to its own AI maturity targets. The right person has enough technical depth to be credible in conversations about what AI can and cannot do, and enough commercial instinct to focus on what matters.
Job Responsibility
Run structured discovery sessions with each function (Ops, CS, KYC, Finance, Sales, Marketing, HR, Product, Tech) to identify AI use cases aligned with the AI Strategy
Challenge function leaders on where manual processes persist that AI should own
Maintain a live pipeline of AI opportunities across the organization, ranked by strategic value, feasibility, and readiness
Bring identified opportunities to the AI Accelerator for review and prioritization - ensuring only initiatives that advance the North Star enter the pipeline
Own the measurement framework on AI transformation at the operational level - ensure every active initiative has a baseline, a metric, and a delivery owner
Run quarterly maturity reviews per function - assess progress against an AI maturity model, identify what is stalling and why
Track the pilot-to-production ratio across all active initiatives - flag Pilot Purgatory patterns early and escalate to the AI Transformation Lead before they compound
Prepare the quarterly AI progress report for the CEO - concise, outcome-focused, no activity metrics
Serve as the primary day-to-day AI contact for function leads - the person they call when they have an idea, a concern, or a blocker
Facilitate structured sessions with Sales, Marketing, and HR leadership to define their annual milestones
Challenge existing processes and support function leads to redefine them
Monitor for scope creep and initiative drift - when a function's AI work diverges from the strategy, flag it and bring it back into alignment
Brief the AI Transformation Lead regularly on what is moving, what is stalling, and what is emerging across functions
Prepare materials for C-level AI governance conversations - structured, evidence-based, tied to strategy milestones
Support the rollout of the AI Academy - coordinate with HR on curriculum delivery and track adoption rates across functions
Contribute to the AI tools policy - identify tools in use across functions, assess alignment with the approved tool list, flag unauthorized usage
Requirements
5+ years of experience in a strategy, management consulting, or senior business advisory role, with at least 3 years focused on AI or digital transformation
Proven track record of translating business problems into AI opportunities and seeing them through to measurable outcomes - not just recommendations
Enough technical depth to hold credible conversations with data scientists and engineers about what AI can and cannot do, without needing to build it yourself
Strong commercial instinct - able to distinguish high-value AI opportunities from noise and focus effort where it matters
Experience owning and running structured frameworks: opportunity pipelines, maturity models, measurement baselines, and outcome reporting
Demonstrated ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, including function heads and C-level, with evidence-based arguments
Excellent communication skills - able to distill complex AI and business topics into clear, concise materials for executive audiences
Experience working cross-functionally across multiple business domains (Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, HR, or similar)
Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI principles, and enterprise AI tool policy management
