Job Description

Protecting Meta’s data and workforce is an explicit top priority for the company. We are part of Security Foundations within the Cross-Meta Security team, dedicated to building and supporting the critical security components of our infrastructure. Our mission is to prevent security incidents for Meta and its users efficiently at scale. Our vision is to provide the best in class internal protection of user data and company resources by focusing on building robust and scalable identity, authentication, and access management infrastructure that addresses top risks. AI will change the way that we work, and how Access Management is done within Meta. This role will help bootstrap our overall ML team within the IAM space, and explore ways AI can help us right-size access throughout Meta. Areas of exploration include: * Access Recommendations: Building ML models that can intelligently recommend appropriate access levels based on role, team, project needs, and security requirements. * Access Review Assistance: Developing AI tools to help streamline and enhance the access review process, identifying anomalies and potential security risks. * Access Configuration Assistance: Creating intelligent systems to assist with configuring complex access patterns and permissions across Meta's infrastructure.

Job Responsibility

  • Help advance the science and technology of intelligent machines
  • Work on research projects, strategies, and problems of moderate to high complexity and scope. Can identify and define both short and medium term objectives
  • Influence progress of relevant research communities by producing publications
  • Establish connections with cross-functional partners and contribute research with the goal of applying to Meta's product development
  • Lead and collaborate on research projects within a team
  • Design policies, processes, procedures, methods, tests, and/or components, from the ground up for end-to-end systems
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of how the machine learning system interacts with the other systems around it

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience leading a team in solving modeling problems using AI/ML approaches
  • Experience in applying research to production problems
  • Experience communicating research for public audiences of peers
  • 12+ Years Experience in developing and debugging in Python, C/C++, or C#
  • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

Nice to have

  • 4+ years of experience as technical lead for a project of 4 or more individuals
  • Experience with interdisciplinary and/or cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience bringing machine learning-based products from research to production
  • Highly experience in analytical and problem-solving skills, including a basic understanding of data analysis techniques
  • Good grasp of SOX, SOC2, NIST, PCI, ISO, and other security regulations
  • Experience in the IAM (Identity and Access Management) domain in a cloud based infrastructure environment

Requirements
Requirements
  • Proven experience leading an enterprise technology or business systems function in a fast-moving, commercially driven organization, with direct accountability for both strategic platforms and operational IT delivery. You have an engineering background and have built things, not just managed vendors
  • Deep familiarity with the tools in scope: Salesforce, Atlassian, Zendesk, Microsoft 365, Slack, and AI productivity platforms. You do not need to have run all of them simultaneously, but you need to know how they fit together
  • A track record of translating business requirements into technology decisions, and technology investments into measurable business outcomes
  • Strong commercial instincts. You understand vendor dynamics, know how to negotiate, and do not let the portfolio sprawl
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders at senior level, including Finance, HR, Sales, and Operations leaders who have strong opinions about the tools they use
  • Solid grounding in identity and access management, endpoint management, and IT operations governance, enough to set standards and hold a team accountable. Alongside this, hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), and API-layer integration. You can work in code, review it, and build teams that ship it
  • Clear, direct communicator who can present to ExCo and board audiences without jargon and with a sharp focus on business impact
  • Hands-on experience deploying AI and automation tooling in production, including agentic workflows, MCP Servers, or API-integrated AI platforms. A grounded view of where generative AI adds measurable value in an enterprise context, and the governance instincts to deploy it responsibly
  • Experience operating within a SOX-compliant or similarly governed environment is an advantage
Job Responsibility
Job Responsibility
  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day operations for Genius Sports' core business systems, including Salesforce, Atlassian (Jira and Confluence), Zendesk, and Microsoft 365
  • Define the integration architecture between business systems and enterprise platforms, ensuring data flows cleanly between tools without creating operational debt
  • Manage vendor relationships in close partnership with Strategic Sourcing
  • Own the Workday integration layer, working with HR and Finance system owners to ensure data integrity and operational reliability across connected platforms. Position the team as a trusted integration partner as broader Workday ownership evolves
  • Architect and build the internal automation platform that will underpin how Genius Sports automates workflows, integrates systems, and delivers self-service capabilities across the business. This is not a buy-only function: you will be building
  • Own the IaC and DevOps practices for the Business Technology estate, using Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code standards to ensure platform environments are version-controlled, auditable, and scalable
  • Lead the design and deployment of agentic automation workflows, including integrations built on MCP Servers, AWS Bedrock, Zapier, and API-layer connectors that reduce manual process overhead across business functions
  • Partner with Engineering and Data teams to ensure the internal platform is built to the same standards as product engineering: proper source control, code review, deployment pipelines, and documentation
  • Drive the team's evolution from reactive IT support to proactive platform engineering, embedding engineering culture, practices, and accountability into how the function operates
  • Own the strategy and governance for enterprise AI and productivity tools, including Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot, ensuring deployment aligns with the company's AI governance framework

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience with strong hands-on skills in API architecture — REST, webhooks, event-driven patterns, OAuth, SAML
  • Experience working with LLMs and AI platforms — Claude, OpenAI, or equivalent — at an integration and architecture level, approached in an AI-native fashion
  • Strong Proficiency in Python and Go, and familiarity with n8n, Make, or equivalent automation platforms

  • A mindset that thinks company-wide, brings people along collaboratively, and has a bias for action

Job Responsibility
  • Work at the intersection of architecture, security, and AI — collaborating with Product, Security, and BizOps to define the standards that everything runs on
  • Help design the new infrastructure for a world where AI is a first-class citizen in every workflow
  • Define and maintain the company-wide integration architecture — the standard every team follows when connecting a new tool, agent, or workflow
  • Collaborate with Product and Security to define how AI agents authenticate, what systems they can access, and how they are monitored
  • Collaborating on the evaluation and onboarding of new tools — assessing fit, defining how they connect, and identifying redundancy or gaps across the applications portfolio
  • Working with the Systems Specialist on the integration layer between n8n, our SaaS stack, and the AI agents running across the business
  • Stepping in early when a business team is about to create fragmentation — and collaborating to find the right, centralised answer
