Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in software engineering
Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Flutter, or related modern stacks
Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Firebase, etc.)
Ability to take ownership of a codebase and lead technical decisions
Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Job Responsibility

Develop and maintain core systems across app, web, and backend platforms
Own and manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and production reliability (AWS/Firebase)
Work on Verity AI’s backend (Python/FastAPI) and integrate with Shopify and custom APIs
Collaborate closely with the CEO and founding team in an agile workflow
Lead product releases, feature upgrades, and technical strategy
Ensure security, data compliance, and minimal platform downtime (SLA-based)

Requirements

5 years building production systems in large, evolving codebases
Strong experience with TypeScript/Node.js/Next.js or Java/Spring Boot
Skilled in writing maintainable, well-tested and well-structured backend or full-stack features
Daily usage of tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codeium, Replit Agent, ChatGPT for coding
Built features or internal tools using OpenAI/Anthropic/Azure OpenAI/Vertex AI
Experience with LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG, tool/function calling, or AI-powered automation

Job Responsibility

Join a product engineering team and contribute directly to customer-facing systems
Work across modern stacks such as TypeScript/Node.js/Next.js or Java/Spring Boot, running on AWS/Azure/GCP
Use GenAI every day to accelerate design, development, debugging, testing, documentation and operations
Build and evolve AI-powered internal tools (coding assistants, review helpers, documentation agents, testing bots)
Integrate APIs like OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, Claude into real products and workflows

Requirements

Experience and passion for harnessing generative AI, particularly for agents and coding
A deep understanding of how to use AI to increase quality, not only to increase quantity
A sense of taste in code and software development practice
A track record of open source software contributions, including contributions to 3rd party libraries
Fluency in multiple programming languages, and an affinity for learning new ones
Deep experience with concurrent programming—you should know how to use mutexes, atomics, and other concurrency primitives safely
Experience designing APIs and writing documentation for publicly-available libraries or modules
Strong technical communication skills—written and verbal—in English
BS or MS in Computer Science (or a closely-related degree), or equivalent work experience writing production-grade software

Job Responsibility

Work as a Software Engineer
Design and implement Temporal AI SDK features supporting a broad variety of frameworks and libraries
Develop a deep understanding of AI application development techniques, including emerging approaches and architectures
Work with multiple programming languages, primarily Python and TypeScript
Make extensive use of AI coding tools, especially to ensure quality across a large number of integrations
Take end-to-end ownership of new features, working with other teams to deliver exceptional reliability and a great developer experience
Serve as a domain expert on AI design patterns, collaborating with field staff to provide best-practices and canonical examples
Work directly with our developer community to debug issues that need expert attention, and get feedback on Temporal SDK features and APIs
Write public technical documentation describing Temporal concepts and APIs
Go the extra mile to support a customer in need, on the rare occasion that AI SDK engineering expertise is needed
