Our client is looking for a thoughtful, structured, and impact-driven professional to join their team as an AI Senior Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding complex AI and data initiatives from strategy to execution, ensuring alignment between business priorities, technology ambitions, and long-term transformation goals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative, cross-functional team of engineers, architects, data specialists, and business stakeholders, and make a real impact on how AI and data shape decision-making and value creation across the Belgian market.
Job Responsibility:
Leading the enterprise-wide AI and data programme, ensuring it aligns with strategic business and technology objectives
Transforming high-level AI and data ambitions into actionable roadmaps, clear initiatives, and measurable outcomes
Overseeing multiple technology-driven projects, including data platforms, AI/GenAI use cases, and governance capabilities
Establishing and maintaining strong project governance, including planning, risk management, quality assurance, and performance tracking
Coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, architecture, business, and data domains to foster shared ownership
Embedding data governance and ethical AI practices to ensure data becomes a trusted and compliant strategic asset
Acting as a key interface between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and engagement
Applying agile and hybrid delivery methodologies while promoting continuous improvement across teams
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar project, programme, or transformation leadership role
Strong knowledge of data strategy, governance, architecture, and AI/GenAI-enabled solutions
Working experience with tools such as Databricks, Collibra, Denodo or similar platforms is essential
Strong organisational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are needed in this job
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
Fluent communicator in English

Past experience in the services industry is nice to have
knowledge of Dutch is a plus
